Terry Copperman, MD
Dr. Terry Copperman was built-in in New York City, and enjoyed the snowy winters of Buffalo until age thirteen, when his family moved to Factory Valley, California. He attended the University of California-Santa Cruz and graduated from medical school at the University of Hawaii, where he met his married woman, Lynne. A resident of Eugene for 35 years, his family unit practice is known for the quality of attention and personal warmth he offers each patient, young and old. He focuses his care on prevention, and believes in the benefits of helping patients realize a sustainable and healthy lifestyle.
"My guiding principles are elementary: to combine the scientific knowledge of medicine with empathy and respect for each patient. I partner with my patients; together nosotros brand choices to assist them maintain and improve their health."
Also personal service to his patients, Dr. Copperman strongly believes in service to the customs. A sixth degree black chugalug in Shin Shin Toitsu Aikido, and Manager of the Personal Kiatsu School of the Oregon Ki Society, he has volunteered thousands of hours teaching how to develop positive attitudes, relaxation and concentration through the martial art of Aikido and the hands-on therapy of Kiatsu to hundreds of children and adults in the Eugene-Springfield community and in Portland. He is likewise a longtime volunteer at Whitebird Medical Clinic and Volunteers in Medicine, helping to serve those in need.
As his patients know well, Dr. Copperman practices what he preaches. For many years, Dr. Copperman has biked vi miles to work and six miles back, rain or shine. He loves to spend his weekends hiking wood trails, kayaking the McKenzie and Rogue, and gardening or tending his fruit copse. He and his wife Lynne have two grown sons, and he enjoys nothing more taking his grandsons to explore a river or trail—except perhaps the run a risk to tell the boys a bedtime story where they save the day through their own resourcefulness, allowing everyone to live happily ever after.
Brittany Alloway, DO
Dr. Brittany Alloway was born in a minor town on the Oregon coast. She afterwards moved to Eugene with her family where she attended Sheldon High School. From a young age she had plans to become a doc.
She attended Oregon State University and received a degree in biology before becoming a stay at habitation mom to her son and daughter. After 6 years of caring for her children she made the decision to go to medical school which proved to exist quite a life transition.
She attended Western University of Health Sciences from 2013-2017. Following medical school she entered into Family unit Medicine residency at Samaritan Hospital in Corvallis, Oregon. She is eager to establish her practice at Southward Hilyard Clinic, a clinic that feels similar home. She enjoys full spectrum family medicine including procedures, and has a special interest in pediatrics.
She stays busy with family including her husband Tim, and their two active children. In her spare time you can detect her sitting along the sidelines of her children's sporting events, thrift shopping or baking with her daughter. She has a passion for instruction youth and takes every opportunity to teach hands on anatomy at local schools.
Lindsey Wilson, FNP
Lindsey Wilson was born in Eugene, and is a sixth generation Oregonian. She was raised on an fourscore acre farm with livestock, former growth timber, and giant breed dogs.
She attended Oregon State University, in Corvallis, OR with a major in Practise and Sport Scientific discipline. She attended University of Miami in Coral Gables, FL for undergraduate and graduate nursing degrees. She is a board certified Family Nurse Practitioner.
Her nursing career started as a community wellness nurse during the H1N1 outbreak in 2009-2010. She worked as an operating room circulating nurse at Cleveland clinic Florida from 2010-2016. She built lifelong friendships in the surgical department that she even so is in contact with today.
Her nurse practitioner career started at Cleveland Clinic Florida with pre-anesthesia testing and chief care from 2016-2017. She joined PeaceHealth from 2018-2020 in chief care. She started at South Hilyard Clinic in 2021, and is excited to telephone call this clinic home.
She has a focus on preventative care and a philosophy of wellness that includes listen, body and spirit.
In Due south Florida, she enjoyed the civilisation, food, and sunshine where she met her current partner, Steve. They accept a Great Dane, Afina and a cat, Mia. They moved dorsum to Oregon in 2017 after two cantankerous country route trips. They have family in Oregon and Florida.
She enjoys travel, nature, cuisine (especially Cuban food) and feeding the deer off her back patio!
